WORKSHOP
We always consider the environmental impacts of our workshop practises and work to reduce our energy consumption and waste.
We are powered by Ecotricity for light and heat, our water is metered so we can observe and minimise our water usage and we actually have very little waste.
All of our cleaning products are environmentally friendly and in refilled packaging.
Our packaging is recycled and mostly recyclable or biodegradable.
We recycle most of our scrap metal into a few collections that use traditional melting and rolling techniques. The metal dust is sent to be refined.

METAL
All Christina's designs are made using recycled silver and gold. We buy recycled metals which are the same quality but have been refined and processed from audited scrap which reduces the need for mining.
We can also make Fairtrade gold wedding rings.
"Buying Fairtrade Gold makes a real difference to the lives of miners, their families and communities. Jewellery with the Fairtrade Gold Stamp is extra special. Buying it means you know the small-scale and artisanal miners were paid a fair price, giving them financial security.
They also receive an extra amount of money to invest in building the future of their families and their communities, through education, medical care or environmental projects. Fairtrade Certified Gold is the world's first independent ethical certification system for gold."    (Fairtrade Foundation)
